GiAPA Menu option 21, selection 3=Histogram was replaced with a large number of new graphics.

Open file data for Other I/Os and for Writes will contain 999.999.999 if value exceeds 999.999.999.

ColdSpot data will only be collected once for each ColdSpot found (repeats gave no new data).

Special value in PHYIOLIMIT keyword for command GIAPA110 may prevent collection of call stack and/or open file information.

V02M02I released 12 Dec 2009

Record selection with *USRPGM added to Job Performance Summary (Menu option 15).

Validation of CPU used per job changed: Value must not exceed total CPU used in that interval.

V02M02H released 23 Nov. 2009

Error correction: Validation of performance data values might be using incorrect user parameter.

V02M02G released 20 Nov. 2009

New '+' after start time on job summary indicates that job continues running into following day.

Number of threads for group totals (*BATCH, *INTER, etc) is changed to 1.

Job interval showing CPU usage exceeding total for interval will now be replaced by 0.

Many harmless severity level 40 messages removed from expansion job log.

Also user names may now be specified in GiAPA Menu option 75 (HotSpot exceptions).

For GiAPA sales channels only: Expansion can run in protected mode (intended for product demo).

Error corrections:

Jobs in wait state terminated on a later date could cause abnormal termination of expansion run.

I/O total per job/file > 9,999,999,999 caused abnormal termination - will be shown as 9,999,999,999.

The graphics runs directly on the iServer, but shows of course the results on your PC browser without any software being installed on the PC!
GiAPA will now automatically receive CPU-usage in milliseconds (and some I/O-statistics) from Job Accounting, if Job Accounting is active. This gives a much more exact information for jobs running a very short time.
Command Line can be called from most GiAPA screens through using F2.
GiAPA now also collects information on disk usage - the ASP-% is saved every 15 seconds.
Max number of open files supported by HotSpot analysis increases from 2.500 to 5.000.
